St-Lazare Carriage Driving Club - Ride and Drive Day BBQ

On Saturday June 14th 2008 several riders and drivers attended the annual St-Lazare Carriage Driving Club (SLCDC) ride and drive day BBQ, the majority being members of the Club Équestre les Forestiers and if not held valid day passes. The day started off with a 2 hour ride ’N drive through the Club Équestre les Forestiers trails located in Sector #3, followed by a BBQ and pot-luck lunch at the Doran’s Bluebird Farm, with ending the day where drivers and their horses showed their skills through a challenging drive course tests in the ring. Visitors came from as far as St-Adèle and Ottawa to take advantage of the CEF’s wonderful network of trails.

Thanks to Steve and Carol-Ann Mills of the St-Lazare Carriage Club for ensuring all of their guests had valid CEF guest passes for the event and for promoting the CEF. Some guests were so impressed they decided to become members.
